WWE stands for Walk With Elias again – and all is well with the world.
A guitar-playing troubadour hit his high on Monday Night Raw to reunite with his younger brother Ezekiel months after his character was murdered in a series of dramatic skits that were inexplicably dropped a few weeks later.
Ezekiel – who bears an uncanny resemblance to his older brother – made his debut the night after WrestleMania 38 in April, baffling Kevin Owens and repeatedly insisting they were the same.
Zeke has consistently maintained that he’s his businessman, and the biggest test of that was set on last night’s show with the promise of Elias back to perform in a private concert.
The musician shared a backstage moment with his brother where they brilliantly appeared on screen together at the same time – even if KO might think this was done using some kind of camera trick.
Elias—with a somewhat hooded beard—hit the ring for the live debut of his new song, Kevin Owns Is A Liar, which directed the former world champion to speak out Ezekiel’s apparent lies.
Zeke appeared on the big screen during the concert insisting that he was really Elias’ younger brother, and not just the same guy with no hair on his face.
KO could not get the upper hand over Elias despite smashing his instruments, as the musician used another guitar to smash his opponent’s head to the delight of the crowd.
Behind the scenes, Owens was still talking about exposing Elias/Ezekiel, and he’ll be facing one of the pair — or a potential new brother named Elrod — on next week’s show.
This continues to be one of the most entertaining events in WWE, with a KO performance that holds sway, while Ezekiel – and now Elias – offers plenty of laughs.
It remains to be seen if the brothers will introduce a third brother next week, but Elias’ appearance in the episode last night shows that anything is possible at this point.
WWE Raw airs Monday night at 1 a.m. on BT Sport 1.
