UK weather: Britons brace for thunderstorms as unsettled weather falls this week | weather | News

According to the Met Office, Scotland is at risk of flooding after a hail of rain and thunder hits the country. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning in response to this dangerous weather.

The unsettled weather will continue into the weekend as the summer weather recedes.

According to weather experts, Wednesday will be sunny with showers and less wind.

BBC meteorologist Stav Danaus said: “The reason for this is that the center of the low pressure system will move away a bit from the northwest of the UK.

“The all-night period of rain will slowly fade in eastern England and Scotland.”

Wednesday and Thursday could see mercury sizzle in these harsh climates, with southeast England expected to have the best of it, according to meteorologists WXCharts.

Meanwhile, The Mirror reports that by the end of the week, the high pressure system pushing from the south will see temperatures soar into the mid-20s in parts of the country.

Weather expert Ian Simpson of Netweather.Tv said: “Midweek, especially Thursday, will see heavy rain and thunderstorms and then a gradual lull in rain by the end of the week as pressure rises over France, then Germany.

“More so for the southeast of Britain, which remains unstable in relation to the northwest of the United Kingdom.
