The royal’s grandmother has revealed that she has spent the year growing her own pumpkins and will be spending time with loved ones this Halloween. In the past, Carole has described herself as a “hands-on” type of grandmother and enjoys doing different activities with her grandchildrenas she said: “I cook with them, I munch around and dance, we go on bike rides.”
Carole posted on her own company’s social media page, Party Pieces, a party and holiday supply company.
On Instagram, Carole wrote: “Halloween is an autumn highlight for me.
“I can still remember the fun and horror from my own childhood; the chance to dress up, decorate pumpkins and trick-or-treat!
“I even grew my own pumpkins this year, so I’m looking forward to decorating them with my loved ones.”
The Instagram post also featured a photo of Carole smiling and looking cozy in a stripped blue, red and black fall sweater.
Party Pieces, of which Carole is the founder, is currently selling a Halloween collection, which encouraged people to have a “horribly fun time” on their company’s website.
The company says its aim is to “create a children’s party they’ll remember long after they’ve blown out the candles”, but can also help customers “throw a hen for dinner so much fun it gets a mention in the wedding speeches. “
Describing her business, Carole said: “While party trends may change, one thing has always remained the same,
“Celebrating is our way of making a fuss of people we love”.
Ms Whittaker said: “Another shopper said Kate was in the shop near the clothes and pointed to me where she was. I just couldn’t believe it.
“She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits but her bodyguard looked at people with phones and told them they didn’t have any pictures.
“You just don’t expect it to happen, you think Kate would be shopping in Waitrose or Harrods.”
The shopper added: “I didn’t see what she actually bought…I think she bought some Halloween bits for her kids, but I don’t know what.”
