Just stop oil mayhem as white van plows through protesters as tensions boil over | United Kingdom | News

A van driver made his way through a group of environmental protesters blocking a busy London junction today. Others have stripped protesters of their banners and dragged them off blocked roads.

Activists from the Just Stop Oil group blocked a road in Knightsbridge.

Footage shows more than a dozen people sitting in the middle of the busy intersection, wearing fluorescent vests and holding large banners with their group’s name.

The van driver can be seen approaching the blockade, who at this point is standing and asking them to move out of the way.

When they don’t comply, he slowly drives forward and forces the protesters aside.

A female activist can be heard asking: “Can’t you do this.”
