Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia, has not cut off her uncle Joe Gorga or aunt Melissa Gorga, despite the couple’s ongoing feud with her mother.
The 21-year-old exclusively told Page Six at BravoCon 2022 that while she used to be closer to Joe, who is her godfather, and Melissa, they’re still on speaking terms — kind of.
“We don’t really talk that much now, but that’s okay. I’m sure we’ll move on somehow,” she shared on Friday.
“I texted my uncle after [his] birthday just out of respect – and for the holiday. He texted back like “thanks.”
Gia added that she does not want the family drama that began shortly before Teresa’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August to come between her and Gorgas’ three children.
“Honestly, the biggest thing I want is that whatever happens between them doesn’t affect my cousins and I,” she told us. “[What happens] between my mother and uncle, it’s between them. My cousins and I are good. We still talk here and there. We feel good.”
Teresa and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, have four daughters: Gia, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13. Meanwhile, Melissa and Joe share daughter Antonia, 17, and sons Gino, 15, and Joey, 12.
Gia, who stunned in a silver mini dress with MONTSERRAT New York jewelry, also teased that she is “definitely” a big part of the upcoming 13th season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” which wrapped filming earlier this year mid i of Giudice-Gorgas’ fall out.
“I kind of stayed behind the scenes with what was going on between my mom and my uncle,” she told Page Six. “It’s just about [seeing] our side on a more personal level and I think that’s really what the fans are going to see.”
We also spoke to Joe, 48, on Friday at BravoCon, where he confirmed it there is “no enmity” between him and his nieces.
“We write. And look, my nieces are my nieces. I love them and there’s no animosity towards them. If they choose to let me into their lives, I’m there. I’ve seen them all from babies, and I love them. There are no hard feelings,” he explained.
As for the conflict with Teresa, which started all over again rumors that Melissa had cheated of her actor husband Nick Barrotta, Joe said it “ruined his life.”
“At this point, I just don’t know what else to say. I’m tired,” he told us.
“I am tired of talking about this for 13 years. I’m 48 years old and I’m glad I woke up this morning and glad I have healthy kids, a beautiful wife, a beautiful life, and I just want to be happy, man.”
Joe further addressed his years-long beef with Teresa, 50, on stage at the convention in New York on Saturday when a fan asked if his sister didn’t support him and Melissa, 43, joining “RHONJ” in 2011.
“This is the s–t that pisses me off,” he shouted in the middle of a panel hosted by Page Six’s Evan Real.
“F–k it. We’re family.”
