All Amazon Prime users are being offered a surprise bonus tomorrow

Prime users may have just been hit with a big price hike, but Amazon is trying to soften the blow with a surprise sale. The online retailer is known for its Prime Day event, which usually takes place once a year in the summer. But in 2022, things will get even better with another price cut bonanza happening tomorrow. But if you want to secure one of the best Prime Day dealsthen you must have a Prime membership.

This time, Prime Day begins on October 11th with deals that last a full 48 hours before ending at midnight on October 12th. All the great deals and money-saving offers will be available exclusively to Prime members, but don’t panic if you don’t subscribe to this premium service.

Right now you can sign up and get a whole month free. This means you can try things on, enjoy the sales event and not have to pay the standard fees. For anyone who isn’t already aware, Prime Day offers big exclusive discounts and money-saving deals to customers who subscribe to Prime.

Some of the biggest cuts are always applied to Amazon’s own-brand devices, such as the Echo smart speaker, Fire TV sticks and Kindles, with some of the lowest prices of the year often arriving during Prime Day, but that’s not all.

Amazon also promises that the October sale will include big savings on top brands such as Shark, Nespresso, Philips, Oral-B, Samsung, Xiaomi, iRobot, LEGO, Melissa & Doug and Hasbro.

“Across the UK, our Prime members will be able to start shopping for some of the season’s best deals before everyone else with Amazon’s new Prime Early Access Sale,” said John Boumphrey, UK Country Manager for Amazon. “You might not be ready for panto and mince pies, but with Christmas less than 90 days away, it’s not too early to start planning your shopping for the coming Christmas season and this exclusive 48-hour sales event will help people save money and shop smarter as we enter the festive season.”

So how much does Prime cost?

Last month’s price rise means a monthly subscription is now £8.99 (was £7.99). Those who sign up for a full year get a small discount with a 12-month membership costing £95 (was £79).

In addition to access to exclusive offers, Prime also offers fast free delivery, songs via Prime Music, plus box sets and movies as part of the subscription via Prime Video.
